The list determines how long the visit needs to be, and a visit sized correctly is the difference between everything getting done and the last three items rolling to next time.
There is no minimum item count and no requirement that the items be related. A sticking door, a loose banister, a smoke detector chirping somewhere you cannot identify, and a picture that needs hanging is a perfectly normal list.
